The service will allow Airtel customers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to experience the sacred feel of the temple premises without traveling long distances and waiting in the queues. To enjoy the service, Airtel customers will have to dial 507873 from their Airtel phones and get 90 minutes of audio feed per day only at a cost of Rs. 3. In case the customer calls at a time when no prayers are scheduled, he can listen to the re-telecast of earlier prayers from the same pilgrimage or opt for another pilgrimage.
The Khajrana Ganesh Temple attracts a large number of devotees from all over the country and is known for the strong belief that all wishes made at this temple are fulfilled. Airtel already offers live audio feeds from 12 major shrines of India, including Sai Baba, Shirdi, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Siddhi Vinayak, Mumbai and Bangla Saheb, Delhi, as per their respective prayer schedules.
