Voltas inaugurates the first store in Durg, Chhattisgarh
~ Embarks on a retail expansion drive in Chhattisgarh~
Durg, 27 August 2011: Consolidating its position as a company pioneering in innovation and laying extreme
emphasis on customer care, Voltas Limited, India’s premier air conditioning and engineering services
company of the Tata Group, today inaugurated its exclusive Voltas Brand Shop in Durg, Chhattisgarh.
The ‘Voltas Brand Store’ located at Jeevan Plaza, G.E. Road, Durg, Chhattisgarh, was inaugurated by Mr.
Pradeep Bakshi, COO, UPBG, Voltas Limited.
This exclusive Voltas store is the first of it’s kind in Durg that offers the entire cooling appliances product
range by Voltas Ltd. The product range also includes the recently launched five models with 5-Star ratings
for energy efficiency, with 20 variants.

The star attractions will include Vertis Elegant, Vertis Gemini, Vertis
Pluto, Vertis Pearl and Platina. Standardized branding and a new format of display & retail merchandising
that is visible, further enhances the international appeal of the store.
Speaking on the aggressive strategy for Chhattisgarh, Mr. Pradeep Bakshi, COO, UPBG, Voltas Limited,
