Tata Teleservices Tops ‘Quality of Service’ Survey Commissioned by TRAI in MP&CG
* In the Mobile Wireless segment, both Tata DOCOMO and Tata Indicom scored high points in the Quality of Service survey—on ‘Least Call Drops’, ‘Best Voice Quality’, on ‘Least Network Downtime’, and on ‘Resolutions of Customer Complaints’.
Raipur, 25 May 2011: In a raucous validation of its efforts to be the best private telecom service
provider in the country, Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL)—India’s fastest-growing pan-India dual-
technology telecom service provider—has emerged as the best telecom operator in a survey on
Quality of Service conducted by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India in the Madhya Pradesh &
Chhattisgarh telecom circle.

In the report for the quarter ending December 2010, both Tata DOCOMO and Tata Indicom recorded
the highest satisfaction scores in the …
• Overall ‘Quality of Service’, with the ‘Least Call Drop Rate’ of 0.30% for Tata Indicom and 0.76% for Tata DOCOMO (against 0.87% for Reliance CDMA, 0.89% for Videocon, 1.19% for
Bharti Airtel and 1.32% for Idea);
• ‘Best Voice Quality for Calls’ by achieving 99.53% for Tata Indicom and 98.55% for Tata
DOCOMO (against 98.59% for Reliance CDMA, 98.42% for Videocon, 97.93% for Vodafone, 97.86
for BSNL and 97.32% for Bharti Airtel);
• ‘Least Network Downtime of 0.01% for Tata Indicom and 0.05% for Tata DOCOMO (against 0.05% for Vodafone, 0.18% for Bharti Airtel, 0.60% for Videocon, 1% for BSNL, 1.09% for Idea
and 0.30% for Reliance CDMA); and
• ‘Call Completion Rate within the Local Network’ of 99.65% for Tata Indicom and 98.68% for
Tata DOCOMO.
Apart from this, both provided 100% resolution to customer complaints, as per the TRAI survey.
