HI-BIRD LAUNCHED 7 NEW MODELS
Ludhiana, March 14, 2011: – Hi-Bird Cycles, a Group Company of the renowned Safari
Group, launched 7 exciting models covering youngsters and kids segments. This brings the
total product range of the company to more than 140 models. Hi-Bird Cycles is known for
introducing new models with latest international trends very frequently almost every 3rd
month. This year Hi-Bird launched 10 models in September, then 8 new models in December
out of which, there was very special model with 25 years guarantee first time in India. Seven
models recently launched are highly attractive and have a unique geometry priced between
Rs.1800/- to Rs.6000/- and names are:-

1. Hi-Bird Dabanng both in sizes 24” and 26”.
2. Hi-Bird Katty both in sizes 24” and 26”.
3. Hi-Bird Angel 16”.
4. Hi-Bird Tulip in sizes 12, 14 and 16” .
HI-BIRD Safari Group’s focused dedication, since inception, to meet customers varying
needs, any where on the globe, brought international recognitions manifested by two Quality
Awards from Europe. The first received in Paris, France which was followed by Geneva
Switzerland. It is pertinent to add here that HI-BIRD is the First and Only India-based
bicycle manufacturer having received Quality Awards consecutively for two years from
advanced part of the world, Europe.
Govt. of India also appreciated efforts of the company by awarding National Award for
Quality to the group company Safari Bikes Ltd. “The company will remain a significant
quality focused player in the Indian bicycle market and will continuously strive to consolidate
further its position”, said Group Chairman Mr.R.D.Sharma. He further continued “We will
all be witness to heightened competitive pressures – survival of the fittest will be the watch
world. We remain confident in our time-tested business model and will continue to wing-
ourselves towards new opportunities”. He also expressed concern about Global Warming and
specifically emphasized the urgent need for a heightened awareness of the benefit that cycling
brings with it. He sees an increased interest in cycling as a means to mitigate the adverse
effects of global warming and a path towards a greener future.
