July 5, 2010: *Starting 10th July, Imagine is all set to bring to life one of the country’s biggest game shows – BIG MONEY. This unique new game produced in association with Siddharth Basu’s BIGSynergy will feature questions exclusively about all things seen on TV - Popular daily soaps, Reality shows, Advertisements, Cartoons, Cricket, News and more! And on this show, it’s not just individuals, but the entire family that will play together to win together the ultimate cash prize of *Rs. 1 Crore.
Developed in house as an innovative and breakthrough thought in the game show space, BIG MONEY uses the structure of the internationally popular format Family Links. It is a multi-level show, where the participating family will have to pool together its knowledge of television at various levels to ultimately win the grand prize Rs. 1 Crore. Each level will feature a series of questions and every member of the family will need to answer at least one question correctly to move into the next round.

The first family vying for the BIG MONEY is the Mathur family from Mumbai. True to the spirit of the game, the Mathur’s comprising of Chetan, Ruby, Prateek and Muskaan are all truly tested on their T.V IQ. When the charming host Madhavan quizzes them, the children grapple with the drama of soaps, while the parents are seen scratching their heads on Cartoon characters.
While the children Prateek and Muskaan try and outsmart their parents, would Chetan and Ruby trust their children enough to be giving the correct answers? Who says watching TV does not pay?
