Masaledar competition erupts on COLORS as Kitchen Champion takes stage
Anandi and Punpnwali fight it out with karchis and belans as they compete for the title of the Kitchen Champion in the first episode of the show
Starting June 14th, every Monday to Friday at 1pm only on COLORS
MUMBAI: Aprons and chef's hats in place, the twelve leading ladies of COLORS take their place in the kitchen as they practice their stance over the kadhai for the first ever cookery reality show of India, Kitchen Champion that debuts on COLORS on June 14 at 1pm.
The first episode will see the women being divided into two groups - Hot Choriyas and Kool Kudiyas. In the opening episode, Anandi from Hot Choriyas and Punpunwali from Kool Kudiyas will be seen waging a war against each other.

Each episode of the show is divided into three rounds, Recipe Rahasya, Masala Mahakat and Cooking ki Karaamat.
The first round, Recipe Rahasya is based on recipes sent in by viewers. In the 1st episode the contestants Punpunwali and Anandi will don a cone on their faces allowing them limited vision and will have to try and find the recipe hidden. If they manage to find the recipe before the stipulated time, they will also earn extra time for cooking the recipe giving one an advantage over the other. The theme of the 1st first episode is ‘Party theme’ and the audience will see Punpunwali making Cheesy Honey Moon Hearts and Anandi, Pocket Parcel that can be served as snacks for a party.
The second round, Masala Mahakat has seven cakes with chits containing ingredient lists hidden in them. Contestants have to use their mouths to remove these chits and then find the recipe in the kitchen to make their dish, a purely fun filled round! The third round is where the contestants actually get to show their Cooking ki Karaamat by making the dishes within the stipulated time.
